HER STORY

Senem Degerli is a next generation Jazz Pianist and Composer from California. Her music is influenced not only by her love for Jazz, but also by the music of her Turkish ancestors. She credits her musical roots to her diverse background.  If you ask her what type of music she listens to, she'll tell you, "good music."

 

She received a Bachelors of Arts in Music from San Diego State University, and is current working on compositions to prepare for her Debut album that will contain original music and arrangements of her favorite standards in the classic Jazz Trio formation. 

 

Senem can be found playing in various venues across California, sharing her feel good grooves with the public.  She has taught piano since 2016 to individuals with varying interests and abilities.  She enjoys sharing her love for music and helping others find their voice.
